Katori Shinto Ryu Intensive with Sugino
Yukihiro
Sensei

On September 1, 2006 Doug Tong, Dennis Wiens and Dayman Perry
traveled to the province of Quebec at the request of Sugino Sensei to meet with
him for a 3 day Katori Shinto Ryu intensive. The intense weekend of
training included focus on kihon, including an outstanding 2 hours session on
maki uchi, kata, a great discussion with Sensei at dinner Saturday night and
even a little car trouble.
We will remember this weekend for quite some time.
