Toko Kyudojo, New York 2006
Kyudo Intensive with Shibata Kanjuro
Sensei

In October 2006, at the request of Shibata Sensei, Dayman
Perry traveled to New York to attend a three day kyudo intensive hosted by Toko
Kyudojo. The event took place at a local community centre and featured
indoor range shooting. The weekend was a great success and boasted a first
shot program of more than 20 beginners. This weekend ultimately had a
special significance to Dayman as Shibata Sensei graciously granted him an
official Kyudojo name. It was in New York that Yuko (friendly tiger)
Kyudojo was born.
